Restoring the facade of a period residence is more than simple maintenance; it is a delicate journey through time aimed at rediscovering the original beauty of the architecture. In this recent project, managed by our Fine Arts and Monumental Restoration division, we focused on recovering the refined decorative schemes that adorn the external elevations.
The intervention centered on safeguarding the precious polychrome decorations and ornamental details, which had been compromised by the passage of time and exposure to the elements. Following a rigorous methodological approach, our work included:
- Analysis and Cleaning: Controlled removal of surface deposits to bring the original colors back to light.
- Consolidation: Targeted interventions on the material to ensure the structural stability of decorative elements and friezes.
- Pictorial Integration: Restoring the legibility of the ornamental designs while fully respecting historical techniques and pigments.
The result is a facade that breathes once again, restoring the prestige and compositional harmony that have defined the building since its inception. This precision work reaffirms our mission: to protect and enhance architectural heritage with expertise and dedication.
